Medical Philanthropy Workshop – CLINICIANS ONLY

What

Have you ever cared for someone who you wished you could confidently talk to about your research program? Or perhaps been asked how a patient could ever thank you but passed on the opportunity to discuss your research's funding needs? If so, then please join the University of Sydney for a workshop on Medical Philanthropy.

The Medical Philanthropy workshop (run by US-based expert Joe Golding, CEO, Advancement Resources) will address common myths about referral-based medical philanthropy, while allowing you to discover your own critical, appropriate, and ethical roles.

Clinicians who have previously attend this training have provided excellent feedback and agreed that it helped them to better understand how to best work with fundraising professionals and donors who express a wish to say thank you for their care in a meaningful way.

Participants explore patient and family member experiences in the healthcare environment and learn critical skills and processes that lead to significant donations. We hope that you can join us on the day.

Please RSVP by Wednesday 17 March to gina.tragoustis@sydney.edu.au.

Please note that this is exclusively for University of Sydney affiliated clinical staff.

Refreshments will be provided.
