Thanks to their membership, Sydney Catalyst covers the full pathway from basic research through to clinical trials and clinical practice, extending to population, psychosocial and health economics research.

Collectively our group has combined research income, publication records and leading researchers on a scale and quality equivalent to international cancer centres and with excellent international links in basic sciences and clinical trials.

ANZAC Research Institute

Group Lead: Prof. David Handelsman.

ANZAC RI's mission is to provide leadership and excellence in health and medical research activities throughout Australia, with a focus on aging, to improve the future health and medical care for the Australasian community.

Asbestos Disease Research Institute

Group Lead: Dr. Ken Takahashi

ADRI was established by the Asbestos Diseases Research Foundation (ADRF), a charitable, not-for-profit foundation dedicated to assist and support the research efforts of ADRI into asbestos-related diseases.

The Centenary Institute is a world-leading independent Medical Research Institute. Their strength is in uncovering disease mechanisms and applying this knowledge to improve diagnostics and treatments for patients and find cures for some of the most chronic diseases affecting today's society.

Concord Cancer Centre provides first class cancer treatment and is a research leader in a number of cancer related areas. Concord Cancer Centre is based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, a major tertiary hospital in Sydney Local Health District.

Garvan Institute of Medical Research

Mid North Coast Cancer Institute

The Mid North Coast Cancer Institute (MNCCI) is a patient centred organisation. It has two world class facilities located at Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour. Each facility provides an integrated multi-disciplinary team approach to the treatment and support of our patients.

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is one of Australia's premier tertiary referral hospitals and is recognised as a worldwide leader in healthcare excellence and innovation. RPA is part of a network of hospitals within the Sydney Local Health District. It is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney.

Founded in 1857 by the Sisters of Charity, St Vincent's Hospital functions as a full service acute public teaching hospital.
