Jaclyn Verghis

Jaclyn is the is the Research Coordinator for EnRICH (Embedding Research (and Evidence) in Cancer Healthcare) - a prospective clinical cohort of 1000 patients with lung cancer. She is involved in the coordination of the cohort across multiple sites, liaising with researchers, clinicians and administrative staff, as well as undertake activities involved in the data management, analysis and interpretation of the EnRICH dataset.

Background 

Jaclyn started her career in clinical trials within the GI Service of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York. As a site and central coordinator, she was involved in pilot and phase I/II studies as well as biospecimen/registry studies from Industry-sponsored and Investigator-initiated trials. Upon returning back to Sydney, she joined the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre, where she continued to work in central coordination and data management of GI as well as Neuro-Oncology trials.

Having a Masters in International Studies, she was involved in public health research at the University of Sydney and then at the University of Cologne, Germany from 2004 - 2009. Jaclyn is now pursuing a Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical Medicine at UNSW.
