Background:

Lyndal has been a GP for almost 30 years, having spent the first 16 years in purely clinical practice before entering academia.

Research Interests:

Lyndal's research over the past 15 years has focussed on the translation of research into general practice, mainly through shared decision making strategies. Her cancer-related research has mainly been in prevention but she has also collaborated on projects on cancer survivorship, multidisciplinary teams and end-of life care. Lyndal's main focus at this stage of her career is to implement her research into policy and clinical practice and on encouraging younger researchers.

About:

I am a wife, mother, step-mother, daughter and sister. I play the piano, have recently learned to do yoga and love history. I am also now a cancer survivor having completed treatment in 2015. This has given me a renewed appreciation of what a gift life is and to enjoy every moment!
