The 7th annual Sydney Catalyst Postgraduate and Early Career Researchers' Symposium

  • Network and establish collaborations with Sydney Catalyst members from at least 30 member groups.
  • Learn about translational research across the full translational continuum from T1-T3.
  • Gain feedback and advice from leading Sydney Catalyst members.
  • A professional photographer will be in attendance and can take updated headshot/profile pictures for interested attendees.

The 2018 Symposium has been designed with collaboration and networking in mind.

Morning tea and lunch is provided and there will be plenty of time to meet and talk with other participants from within and outside your area of expertise.

Call for 'virtual posters'

All attendees are invited to submit a 'Virtual Poster' presentation to be listed on our members only database prior to the symposium to enhance networking opportunities.

Virtual Posters will be published on the website as they are received, you can submit a virtual poster at any time, the sooner you submit it the more exposure it will receive. You are welcome to submit a previously presented poster.

Virtual Posters are great opportunity to network and connect with your colleagues prior to the Symposium and we strongly encourage you to take part.

The call for abstracts has now closed (late submission accepted until Thursday 29th March), sucessful candidates will be notfied on Tuesday 3rd April. Enquiries

Important dates

  • Registration Open - call for abstracts - 1st March
  • Close of abstracts - 22nd March
  • Selected presenters notified (10 minute oral presentations) 3rd April
  • Symposium 2nd May
