2pm Wednesday 23 August, 2017
Charles Perkins Centre, University of Sydney

Are you thinking about undertaking a PhD in cancer research? Are you wondering "what's next?"

Join us for our 'Scaling New Heights: PhD Opportunities Showcase' to hear about some amazing opportunities available to you. This showcase is presented by Sydney Catalyst,  the translational cancer research centre of central Sydney and regional NSW.  Our unique multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional consortium includes over 600 individual members from a diverse range of clinical and research member groups all working towards our common goal of improving outcomes for people affected by cancer.

During a casual afternoon meeting, prospective PhD students interested in cancer research will have a unique opportunity to hear from and meet with Sydney Catalyst members from the University of Sydney (including representatives from various research departments and centres from the Faculties of Medicine, Science, Health Sciences, Nursing, and others), Medical Research Institutes including the Centenary, the Garvan and the ANZAC Research Institute, and Local Health Districts.

Check out our evolving program for details on PhD presenters,  a thought-provoking panel discussion and your chance to join the "Impression Sessions", a speed-dating style affair designed to help you meet as many Sydney Catalyst members and potential supervisors as possible... We hope to see you there!
