Integrating qualitative methods into clinical research

SAVE THE DATE. REGISTRATION OPENING SOON.

Presented by Associate Professor Haryana Dhillon, Dr Rebekah Laidsaar-Powell, and Dr Joanne Shaw, in conjunction with Sydney Catalyst.

This workshop will provide a roadmap to incorporating qualitative research methods into clinical research projects. Qualitative research can provide useful insights across the lifespan of projects; from informing project conceptualisation, identifying population needs, and piloting interventions at the start of a project, through to aiding interpretation of trial findings and informing implementation.

Not just for psychosocial or public health researchers, this workshop will focus on the use of qualitative data for all types of cancer research, from the lab to the clinic and beyond.

Facilitated by experienced mixed methods researchers, learn when to use qualitative research, why qualitative methods are useful, and how to conduct it rigorously.

This workship is FREE for Sydney Catalyst members. Please register for catering purposes as lunch will be provided.
