Membership Obligations

  1. Update your Sydney Catalyst member profile regularly: Keep your personal and professional details up-to-date; this includes your contact details, as well as your research interests and projects (eg grants, publications). For more on how your information will be used, see our Privacy and Use of Information statement. We will periodically send you a reminder to browse your Sydney Catalyst online profile and make sure your details are current.
  2. Share information and collaborate with other Sydney Catalyst members, eg. through the Research Marketplace and by contributing to, and participating in member events and activities (both face-to-face and virtual). Of course, informal meetings and information exchange are another way to learn what others are doing and we encourage all our members to attend events such as the Sydney Catalyst Education Dinner Series and our various meetings and symposia to do just that.
  3. Become involved in specific Sydney Catalyst led and/or supported research projects. We spend close to $500,000 every year providing support to translational cancer research projects that align with our overall goals and objectives, have the potential to leverage future funds and will positively affect health outcomes for people with cancer. Additional research support is also available for our members' projects.
  4. Contribute to Sydney Catalyst program monitoring and reporting. From time-to-time we will ask Sydney Catalyst members to provide us with information required for monitoring and reporting of our program. While we always try to minimise disruption or duplication, we appreciate our members responding promptly to any requests we may send.
